What programs/tools do you use?

I’m primarily a digital painter, though I use traditional mediums from time to time, such as watercolors and oils. As for tools and software, I have a small Intuos5 and use the following programs:

For painting: Photoshop CS5.
For lineart: Paint Tool SAI
For animation: Maya, Flash, Premiere
For 3D Modelling: Zbrush, 3DS Max

Do you take commissions?

Depends. I'm not going to flat out say no, I'm currently looking for stuff to put on my resume, so illustration or concept art gigs are really up my alley. But in general, no OC's, no furries, and no fetish art...pretty sure I just killed of 99.9% percent of potential commissions on here, hehe.

Do you take requests?

Suggesting themes for dailies is encouraged, but not if it's your own character

Free art screws up the industry.

Do you do trades?

Only with friends.

Can I use your art for *insert blank*?

Nopenopenope.

I've had my art stolen before and it's NOT fun and extremely irritating. So yeah, I'm probably being paranoid but for 99.9999% of cases, don't use it.

Can you make a tutorial?

In my opinion, I don’t believe that painting tutorials are terribly helpful, given that every artist has their individual method of going about it that works for them. Personalized critiques are far more useful; and there’s many people out there ready to give them. Though this is just my stance.

What are dailies?

Dailies are timed paintings that must be submitted before 12 AM every single day. It’s an idea that I got from my friend and fellow artist, Naomi Savoie.

The painting process itself is timed and rounded to the nearest five, but the quick compositional sketch is often not included unless there’s substantial detail.

Do you go to art school? Where?

I go to school for 3D Animation and CGI at Dawson College, and I’m in my second year.
