Thank You

For quite a number of time-related reasons, I cannot reply to the majority of the comments I receive. But I just want you guys to know that I appreciate and read EVERY single one of them. And that my lack of response on here is not to disrespect you in any way.

Thank you for supporting me.

FAQ

GENERAL FAQ

Do you take commissions?

I am open to professional freelance commission work. Preferably from established companies (advertisements, game work, etc.)

If the work is for personal usage, I'm afraid I don't offer those services.

Do you take requests or art-trades?

Unfortunately, no.

Can I use your work for *insert blank*

Unless you're cropping an image out for an icon, I really insist that you contact me prior to using any of my work, I tend to be extremely rigid with it's usage. Especially my own IP

Can I model one of your designs in 3D? Or get a tattoo?

If you'd like to model a design in 3D (for portfolio purposes), I'm okay with it so long as:

A) You credit me and source back to my page.
B) It HAS to be one of my re-designs and not my original content. So modelling the Pokemon remakes is perfectly fine with me, but not my own characters.
C) You can't profit off of it monetarily.

For tattoos. So long as you're an individual and not a tattoo parlor. I'm more than glad to permit you to get a tattoo of my work. I'd love to see the end result if possible (:

Can I 'adopt' one of your character designs?

Personally, 'adoptables' on DeviantART is an area that I'd never touch. Sorry. If I sell over original IP, it would only be in a professional sense.

What programs and equipment do you use?

Photoshop CC & my Cintiq Companion (occasionally an Intuos5)

What brushes do you use?

* The custom non-integrated PS brushes I use are from the following:

www.shaddyconceptart.com/downl…
zedig.deviantart.com/art/Brush…
sandara.deviantart.com/art/My-…

What is a daily painting? Are there any guidelines or lists?

I commit to making a painting every single day, all submitted prior to 12: at night. There is no clear goal and the topics are usually random; save for a few topics borrowed from the twitter group, Sketch Dailies.

Est-ce que tu parles Français?

Oui (:

PROJECT FAQ

Where can I purchase prints/etc.

I will be opening up a shop soon on either Society6 or RedBubble. Since selling my own work is a relatively new venture for myself, I apologize for the delay. Whenever anything is made available, I will post a journal about it.

In regards to the Pokemon re-designs, will other regions be covered?

Yes. I intend on covering them as far as Gen 2 and *possibly* Gen 3. Although due to my schedule at the moment, anything more than the original 151 will be covered next year.

Do you have any original projects in the works?

Yes! I've got many planned for the future, most of which I can't really disclose of yet. But here's the general lineup for 2014-2015

1. Sidhe (Student Film)
2. Untitled Children's Book
3. Untitled Card Game (Might turn it into a kickstarter)

About Me

Hi there,

I am a final-year animation student with hopes of becoming a concept artist and fulfilling my own personal projects along the way. I've got a lot to learn and I'm really eager to try out new techniques (when I get the time, heh)

I am currently doing some side freelance work on Intel's "Pocket Avatars" app

I also have a Tumblr and a Twitter

Hi Robert :)

I really wish I was in a position to give you an honest answer, since a lot of what I know about online schools is hearsay from friends and I haven't really taken anything yet. But off the top of my head

For animation: ianimate and animation mentor, those are the two most popular
For concept art/ illustration: concept design academy, schoolism, and cgma

From what I kind of understand, some people work better with online classes, others might have issues with the format in contrast to traditional schools. Might be a good idea, unless you've tried it before, to try with something less expensive at first just to see imo

Awesome! all those websites look great! :D
I want to try out the schoolism one first. I always liked going the easy
way, and for some reason I think online courses would be easier for me to learn.
Thank you for your time Piper~
