LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Wtf I don't even know. I used to draw aliens a lot when I was a kid, but it's been years and I've never tried painting them. It's going to take quite a while to get the hang of

It's a really fun topic, I can't believe I ditched it. I'm a huge zoology nerd so coming up with all kinds of reasons for why the creature would have certain attributes is going to be fun as hell.

IMO it'd be nicer if he didn't have those t rex arms and instead have his left front hoof actually be his right front arm where his torso is turned as gorilla pose. just my penny for thoughts is all.

Back then, I'm sure you never thought you could draw this fast. Is it just the coloring that took you that amount of time or the whole sketching and coloring?

Not sure which animals it was, heh. I guess it's kind of a pachyderm and a turtle of some sort.

When I calculate, it's usually the painting process. The sketch is extremely rough (about 2-3 minutes) with no details apart from figuring out composition. I try not to make a lot of details at that phase because it can really restrain you when you paint. Though I'm sure that some people can work better the other way around.
